Dear neighbors, I am overwhelmed with the incredible number of caring people in our neighborhood and the great number of people who obviously are in need of food help in our neighborhood and that are served by just a few organizations. I am new to the community. Most responders mentioned the food programs at the East Liberty Presbyterian Church. What I failed to mention is that the bakery will not provide delivery service. They will donate the food but it will need to be picked up daily before they close. The name of the bakery is "La Gourmandine at www.lagourmandinebakery.com. They are on Butler street, very close by Highland Park. Their phone number is 412-682.2210. They are very generous and eager to help out.
