The tribute – taking place in virtual format via website and social media posts – features an overview of Pittsburgh’s jazz history, artist profiles and performance videos. “We salute Pittsburgh’s jazz influence and recognize how over the past century, dozens of nightclubs in Pittsburgh’s Hill District, such as the Crawford Grill, supported a vibrant jazz scene,” said Pittsburgh Mayor William Peduto.
