Hi neighbors. I am helping a family member find housing. She recently was approved for a Section 8 voucher, which is a miracle because most of the subsidized/affordable housing options in the area have waitlists that are years long - she was told multiple times the waitlist was 7-10 years at some places!!! The problem is that many landlords do not accept Section 8 vouchers. So I am turning to this community to see if anyone knows a landlord who would be willing to accept a 2 bedroom Section 8 voucher. She is flexible on area; she just wants it to be safe because she has a child. If anyone knows of any landlords, or has advice or tips on navigating Section 8 in general, please let me know.
