Hello. I'm a 29-year-old academic/creative type living in Highland Park. I have a three-bedroom, one-bath row house, and find myself only occupying half the available space. I have five months left on my lease and would not mind acquiring a roommate for some or all of the remaining time. The extra bedroom is currently furnished (and functioning as a guest room), but can quickly become unfurnished. The office is large enough that another desk could easily fit. The rest of the house is fully furnished, but I have a large basement that fits a house-worth of furniture, so I'm pretty flexible on that count. Living, dining room, good-size kitchen. Great neighbors, street parking, laundry in the basement. Not in the best shape, but I really love living here. I'm pretty easy-going, and there's a small sweetheart of a dog that lives here too. I'm less than a block from the park and less than a block from the 71A and 71B bus stop. Half of the rent and utilities (water, electric, and gas) comes to $475/mo.
