[Highland Park] Final Reminder: This Weekend at the Festival
Saturday evening, November 4, 8 p.m., former St. Andrean Mezzo Soprano Elizabeth Robideau will be in recital with John Moyer, piano, and Yuliya Zhukova, cello, presenting songs and arias by Britten, Handel, Berlioz, Brahms, and Rossini. Sunday morning, November 5, at the 11 a.m. All Saints Sunday service of the Holy Eucharist, the Choir of St. Andrew's Church and the strings of the Pittsburgh Festival Orchestra will present the Mozart Missa Brevis in G Major. And, as the Festival reaches its crecendo and conclusion, on Monday evening, November 6, at 8 p.m., the Pittsburgh Festival Orchestra, with the Festival Chorus, and joined by the Slippery Rock Trio, will present works by Handel, Stravinsky, Vaughan Williams, and Beethoven. St. Andrew's is located at 5801 Hampton Street, between North Highland and North Negley Avenues, one block south of Bryant Street and four blocks south of the park, in the East End Pittsburgh neighborhood of Highland Park.
