And just like every season must end to welcome in a new one, we will be saying our thank yous and farewells to Commander Vinansky as he transitions to a new assignment, as well as saying our hellos and welcomes to our new Zone 5 Commander. We will also be learning about the importance of socialization to our health and safety from the city's Office of Nighttime Economy. Residents will be able to participate in their Socialization Survey to track the gaps and needs in safe socializing opportunities for all Pittsburghers. Additionally, we will be allowing some time for neighbors to discuss their feelings related to the tragic event in Garfield that occurred on August 23. As a reminder, we ask that everyone approach the topic with kindness and compassion for all neighbors and their various experiences and emotions.  Our meeting will be from 6-7:45pm at Kingsley Association in the Yoga Room (3rd Floor). As always, we will have a lovely dinner from Chef Mike at Roux Orleans.
