Koslowski shared por la blanda arena–an intense dance theatre work with an international cast of innovative and dark humored collaborators–as a work in progress during KST's 2011 newMoves Contemporary Dance Festival. A native of Bonn, Germany, he received a diploma from the Conservatory for Music and Theatre in Berne, Switzerland, and a Bachelor of Arts from London Contemporary Dance School. He performed withDance Alloy in Pittsburgh from 1995 to 2003, both in the U.S. and abroad. During that time he originated numerous roles with noted choreographers including Ann Carlson, Tere O’Conner, David Rousseve and David Dorfman. He was the assistant to Mark Taylor, the Alloy’s artistic director, from 1999 to 2003, when he accepted his current position with the Pennsylvania Dance Theatre. About Pennsylvania Dance Theatre Founded in 1979, Pennsylvania Dance Theatre (PDT) continues to thrive from its home base of State College, PA. The company has performed on national and international stages, and has brought to central Pennsylvania the type of powerful, progressive dance experience enjoyed by audiences in cultural centers like New York and Berlin.
