Neighbors-- Pittsburgh Online Academy, a tuition-free option for students in grades 4-12 in Pittsburgh Public Schools, is currently accepting applications for the 2015-2016 school year. Our open enrollment invites families with students currently enrolled at private, parochial, charter, or home schools to learn more about our academy. We are the only online school offering the Pittsburgh Promise scholarship program. Our asynchronous, student-centered model allows students to learn virtually using state-of-the-art courseware and Apple MacBook computers. Our teachers and staff also support students at our fully-staffed drop-in center in South Side, where we individualize support to maximize student performance. We offer advanced placement, honors, STEM, and world language courses. Students can also participate in Career and Technical Education programs.
