Neighbors, Can anyone recommend a place to get a reel lawn mower (the old-fashioned, people-powered type) sharpened? I tried to contact Maturi Brothers, which had previously been recommended by someone on this list, but their phone is disconnected, suggesting that they have probably gone out of business. Confirming what Lloyd Stires reports, Maturi Brothers has closed. I use Jay's Sharpening on Plum Street in Oakmont. That is the first street you come to in Oakmont off Allegheny River Blvd. I don't know his address, but his shop is on the left. Phone 412-828-0844. Best to call to make sure he is there.
