Dear neighbors, On May 15th, I will be running the Pittsburgh Marathon, my second marathon to raise money for the Michael C. Snyder Memorial Fund, a scholarship established in memory of a dear friend whose life was taken too early seven years ago. Two scholarships are awarded each year to students in my home of Frederick County, Maryland - one for a student involved in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program (Michael was a dedicated Big Brother) and the other for a student planning on studying art or education.
