Neighbors, On behalf of the students and families of Dilworth Traditional Academy, I am writing to ask if you would be willing to support our school with a donation to a silent auction this spring. The Dilworth PTA will be hosting an online silent auction to raise funds for the coming year. The money raised through this auction will support some wonderful programs, sending food home over the weekend for kids in need, providing in school performances from local artists, covering the cost of yearbooks for every student, ensuring their musical instruments are well maintained, and supporting an end of year school picnic presuming that is possible again this year! In addition to these things, the PTA also supports the school’s teachers directly by helping to fund ad-hoc needs during the year. This online auction will be available to the entire community beginning on Monday, April 25th and ending on Friday, April 29th, with all money raised benefiting the Dilworth PTA. We are currently looking for donors. Auction items may include artwork, jewelry, lessons, gift certificates, event tickets, gift baskets, etc. All donations are tax deductible and as a donor, you will receive publicity prior to and during the event, which will be viewed by online viewers and bidders.
