I received a good suggestion that I can't believe I forgot to include, but for those concerned, these package thefts occurred in the 800 block of Heberton St. At least 2 others have replied with similar incidents, although in one case the package arrived several days after being marked as delivered. I had been hoping this was the case but I am at over 3 business days for the first one, so I am not expecting it to arrive. For those who have the option, it's recommend that you sign up for Informed Delivery service, where you will receive an email daily with a listing of mail coming to you. Unfortunately my apartment building is not eligible at this time. Hi neighbors, I spoke to the post office to follow up with my previously mentioned missing package as well as another that was delivered yesterday. The manager of the post office confirmed that the packages were scanned at my door and delivered, and so they must have been stolen. They may also be taking paper mail out of the mailboxes, but I cannot confirm this. Has anyone else been having similar issues? I will be informing the police department so they are aware and perhaps can increase patrols.
