Hello Highland Park Neighbors, I to want everyone to know that the market will be open on Super Bowl Sunday! Thanks to the storm, the market got washed out, or should I say snowed out today. The Kennedy's made it in with a whole load of fresh meat, and Rick Zang made it in with a truckload of fresh veggies and fruit. I was there at the Kew Park Coffee stand. Only about a dozen people showed up, mostly on foot. The parking lot is plowed and the streets are now accessible. We decided to open up on Sunday so the meat and produce don't spoil. Please try to stop by to support the farmers- and you can avoid fighting the crowds at the grocery stores. We will have coffee, hot chocolate and fresh squeezed juice at the Kew Park Coffee stand. The market will be open on Sunday from 7 am until noon. The market is located at 344 North Sheridan Ave., adjacent to the Home Depot parking lot. David Lagnese
