The evening begins at 11 p.m. with a musical recital in the church, followed by a simple service of Holy Communion. Then at Midnight we will climb the dark stairway in the Church Tower to Ring in 2009 on the Great Bell of St. Andrew's Church . . . . And then, over in Brooks Hall, we will enjoy refreshments (Champagne for the 21+ crowd, or sparkling cider, plus holiday cookies and treats -- with the great fun music of *The Polished Pearls,* a wonderful alternative folk-rock ensemble featuring Andrea Scheve, vocals and guitar, and Trish Imbrogno, double bass.
