At around 9:35 p.m., September 9, 2006, on 6400 block of Jackson Street, three African American males stopped by to watch my son and his friend ride their bikes on the ramps that they built. One boy left to get his bike. The other two gained the trust of my son and his friend. Once they proved they were trustworthy, they asked to try it. Once on the bikes, they rode away. The third boy returned with his bike and was surprised to learn that his friends had stolen the bikes. The boys stated that they were from East Liberty. One of the thieves was light skinned. The boys are around 15 years old, around 5’6” tall. My son built these bikes and put a lot of time and effort into the planning and building of bike 1. He really wants his bikes returned.
