[Highland Park] Farmers Cooperative Market of East Liberty Update
Update for Saturday May 8th
Olive Oil Upate
We had a lot of fun with the olive oil tasting last week. We mixed it up with some of Rick Zang's micro greens. Then we poured it on top of Sam Byler's goat milk feta. People seemed to really like the oils. Each oil has its own distinctive taste. People's preferences varied a lot, so we plan to carry 4 or 5 oils at a time. We will always offer the opportunity to taste the oils before you buy them. I am happy to report that we have ordered 4 oils, all from different farms in California. We will have them for sale Saturday May 15th. We will have reusable bottles for sale, but encourage people to bring their own glass containers. We will sell the oil by the ounce, so you pay the same amount for as little or as much as you like. We will have another tasting this Saturday, so please free to stop by for free samples.
