In addition to the Post-Gazette's well-publicized town meeting on education, there is an opportunity to learn about the history of our area at the University of Pittsburgh, or you can attend a public forum on education at Reizenstein Middle School. The instructor is Charles Honeywell, who informed Community Club members in October about a proposal for an East End history center. The course costs just $18 (paid in advance), with a $6 materials fee (paid to the instructor). Call 412-383-8600 to register. When I registered today I was told that seats are still available.
