dear neighbors: if you’re concerned about the highland park open air police firing range, suffering its gunfire in your home even with windows shut, if you feel alarmed or stressed in the park jogging or swimming to the noise from automatic weapons, if you’re enraged that kids hear gunfire regularly on the playground, if you are experiencing trauma or anxiety when you hear the gunfire, if you moved out of the neighborhood because of the firing range, please sign this petition: https://chng.it/ZFsGxyNbXW the range operates without community consent and despite decades of effort by the HPCC to end the noise. now residents and visitors have a chance to make our voice heard. the petition will go to Pittsburgh city leaders as well as the Pa. statehouse and DC senators and congresspeople. no other residential neighborhood has an open air police firing range. we don’t deserve one either. please pass the word! thank you! joy
