Residents cannot access their homes and illegally parked cars often block the street so other vehicles cannot pass. We will be conducting an enforcement effort in the area surrounding the field. Vehicles that are parked illegally will be cited and possibly towed. PLEASE FIND A LEGAL PARKING SPOT when attending events at Natoli Field. Thank you! *Homewood / East Hills* *4/13/19 Burglary - 2200 block Park Hill Drive.* Victim reported that he believes his girlfriend broke into the home that he shared with his mother on Park Hill Drive. The victim reported that he and his girlfriend were arguing the night before but he ended up spending the night at her home. When he woke up the next morning, she was gone. When the victim returned home, he found his door had been kicked-in, his TV was broken, and bleach had been thrown all over his clothes. The victim indicated that his girlfriend has a history of damaging his property. Burglary detectives will follow-up on this case. (68307) *4/14/19 Theft from Vehicle - 7200 block Kelly Street. *Victim came to Zone 5 to report that his Smith & Wesson .40 caliber pistol was stolen from his unlocked vehicle while he was drinking at the Galaxy Lounge the previous night. (69800) *4/14/19 Theft from Vehicle - 7100 block Frankstown Avenue. *Victim reported that she parked in front of the Homewood House apartments around 11:45 PM on 4/13. When she came back to her car around 2:20 AM, she noticed that her car had been ransacked and a pair of UGG boots and some change had been stolen. The car was left unlocked. (68857) *4/16/19 Burglary - 900 block N. Murtland Street.* Victim reported that his Hi-Point .40 caliber pistol was stolen from his apartment sometime between September, 2018, and April 16, 2019. There was no forced entry into the residence. (70586) *4/16/19 Stolen Vehicle - 7356 Stranahan Street, 3:57 PM. *Victim reported that she left her vehicle running while she stopped into Chadwick's Market. When she came back outside moments later, her Toyota Corolla was gone. Surveillance video captured the theft. Officers observed a black male, age 13-16, light complexion, with a "box top" hair cut, and orange shoes, exit a black Chevy sports car and get into the victim's vehicle, then drive off. The vehicle was located by the owner later that same day, at which point (3) juveniles fled from the car. The car was recovered by the owner. (70602) *4/19/19 Theft from Vehicles - 400 block Rosedale Street. *Three separate victims reported that someone shattered the front passenger windows on their vehicles and stole loose change while their cars were parked on Rosedale Street near the Park & Ride. (73188 / 73041 / 73187) *4/20/19 Stolen Motorcycle - 7200 block Kelly Street.* Victim reported that he parked his 2014 black Harley Davidson Street Glide motorcycle (PA plate 4DZ82) in front of the Galaxy Bar around 10:00 PM. When he returned the next day to retrieve it, the motorcycle was gone. (74284) *Larimer / Lincoln-Lemington* *4/14/19 Aggravated Assault - 6400 block Frankstown Avenue, 9:46 PM. *Officers responded to a stabbing and arrived to find a 32 year-old male victim who crashed his car into the Gelman Loan building at the corner of Frankstown Avenue & Lincoln Avenue. The victim was conscious and had a stab wound to his chest and a head injury from the crash. (69391) *4/19/19 Stolen Vehicle - 500 block Larimer Avenue.* Victim reported that someone stole his 1996 silver Chrysler Sebring overnight. the vehicle was recovered, wrecked and unoccupied, later that day in Wilkinsburg. (72848) *4/20/19 Aggravated Assault (Domestic) - Saxon Way & Lincoln Avenue, 8:53 AM.* A 26 year-old male victim reported that his ex-girlfriend, *Deserea McKoy, 26, of McKees Rocks,* came to his location to discuss an issue involving their minor child. An argument ensued and McKoy drove her car onto the sidewalk and struck the victim. when he attempted to flee, McKoy exited her vehicle with an aluminum baseball bat and struck his multiple times. It should be noted that neutral witnesses driving by the scene stopped when they saw the victim roll up over the hood of McKoy's vehicle. Officers arrested McKoy at the scene when they arrived. (73535) *Bloomfield / Garfield / Friendship* *4/20/19 Theft from Vehicle - 4600 block Gangwish Street. *Victim reported that his vehicle was ransacked and items were stolen sometime between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. No signs of forced entry into the vehicle. (73659) *East Liberty / Highland Park* *4/18/19 Aggravated Assault (Shooting) - 500 block N. Highland Avenue, 12:05 AM.* A 19 year-old male victim arrived at UPMC Shadyside by private means and told staff that he had just been shot in the foot while walking near the Sunoco gas station on N. Highland Avenue. There were no ShotSpotter alerts in that area and the victim provided vague details. Detectives are investigating. (71729) *4/19/19 Burglary (Domestic) - 6200 block Wellesley Avenue, 8:50 AM.* A 39 year-old male victim reported that his ex-girlfriend, *Jasmine Utt, 31, of Braddock,* came to his resident unannounced, wanting to pick up their children. She was asked to wait outside while a family member went to get the victim. When the victim came to the living room, Utt had already entered the home and began assaulting him. Utt left the residence after the assault and was located about a block away. Utt had no injuries on her person but officers noted that the victim had a large, bleeding bruise on his ribcage and fresh scratches to his arm and hand. Utt was arrested without further incident. (72786) *Morningside / Stanton Heights / Waterworks* *4/20/19 Burglary - 1100 block Brintell Street. *Officers responded to a possible burglary-in-progress and met with the 58 year-old female victim and her 25 year-old son. Officers cleared the residence and determined that the burglar was gone. The victim's son reported that he stopped by the house, while his mother waited in the car, and ran inside to grab her purse. When he entered the home, he noticed items out of place. Further investigation showed that the basement door was open and a glass panel had been broken, but the burglar alarm did not activate. The victim mentioned that someone stopped by a few days earlier to discuss home improvements. When the victim allowed the man into the home, her alarm system went off. The victim asked the man to turn off her alarm system and gave him the code. The victim told officers that cash and jewelry had been stolen. Detectives are investigating.
