To all those who reponded to my perogie request, get this--I ended up sending meatballs and sauce from the Italian market in Bloomfield (the one on the side street with the large parking lot across the street). I had thought that I saw perogies there once in their freezer case but no. After contacting both Perogies Plus in McKees Rocks and Rosi's at the Pgh. Mills and learning that neither shipped anymore, I tried Bloomfield, walked down to the Bloomfield Bridge Tavern thinking they might sell me some, (they were closed in early afternoon) I went with the meatballs since, after all, my relatives in RI probably would rather have meatballs. Don't tell anybody but I managed to ship them, a container of meat marinara sauce and 7 bottles of Yuengling beer in one of those post office, flat rate, 2 day boxes, for $14.95. Go Steelers. --
