[Highland Park] Friday, 2 p.m. --Music of Passiontide
The final hour of Good Friday observance at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Highland Park, will feature: Music of Passiontide St. Andrew's Festival Chorus Joanne Luchsinger, mezzo-soprano; Guy Russo, tenor Strings from the Pittsburgh Festival Orchestra Melissa McBride, Conductor Music from Messiah, by G.F. Handel; Fantasia on a Theme of Tallis, by R. Vaughn Williams; Adagio, and Two Passiontide Hymns, by Albinoni. The musical program begins at 2 p.m., the Third Hour of Good Friday, March 25. All are welcome. St. Andrew's is located at 5801 Hampton Street, between North Highland and North Negley Avenues, one block south of Bryant Street and four blocks south of the park, in the East End Pittsburgh neighborhood of Highland Park.
