Hello all, A friend of mine was attacked and raped on Friday evening around 8-8:30 pm near Stanton and Negley ave. She was at the bus stop talking on her phone, and a young man (most likely under 20 yrs old) grabbed her and dragged her into the woods. Fortunately, she was able to keep her wits about her and convince him not to kill her (which he was trying to do). Police reports have been filed, and as of now, I do not have any more information. He did not wear a mask, and she was able to give a description (which I do not have at this time). I will provide more info as I find out more. If anyone was around this area at that time and heard or saw ANYTHING, please contact me or the police. I am so happy that my friend is still alive, and I hope to God that this man will be found and brought to justice. Please please PLEASE do NOT walk anywhere at night by yourself!! This occurred before it was even dark, so please be extremely cautious. I just wanted everyone here to be aware of what happened, as it did not get much news coverage. thanks, Anna Montano
