Greetings Neighbors... I hope that many of you had an opportunity to attend our First concert of the ROJ this past Sunday, it was a glorious day to kick back, relax and enjoy some of Pittsburgh Finest Jazz Musicians in our own "back yard". This week will be more of the same... The Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra, under the co-direction of Sean Jones and Mike Tomaro will be performing this Sunday August 8th, from 5-7pm. Bring your chair, blanket, picnic or you can just come hang and buys some delectable for Manno's or the "Ice Man". Thinking ahead? Sunday August 15th, 5-7- Kenia will be performing. For those of you who do not know Kenia you are in for a treat. Kenia sings beautifully and will take you on the trip of a life time to Brazil, with her Samba's, Bossa Nova's fused with Jazz. She will have CD's for sale, "Simply Kenia " and her latest release Kenia , Dorival Caymmi Songbook! Sunday August 22, 5-7- The Manchester Craftsman's Guild will be returning this year and presenting a concert on fusion jazz, Aurora Fusion Jazz! Sunday August 29, 5-7-Jazzology-featuring some of the regions college jazz educators coming together collaboratively for the art of JAZZ! Come out and see what college is being featured....
