Monica From: Lando, Jason Sent: Wednesday, May 27, 2015 12:32 AM Subject: Crime Alert: Highland Park Good Evening, On Monday morning, Zone 5 officers responded to a report of a burglary in the 1200 block of Winterton Street in Highland Park that had occurred sometime overnight. The occupants were home sleeping at the time, but nobody was injured. Our Mobile Crime Unit has processed the scene for evidence and the case is being handled by the detectives in the Burglary squad. Zone 5 has increased patrols in the area. If you saw anything in the area of Winterton street last night or if you know anyone else who might have seen anything, please let me know. As always, please be vigilant. Lock your doors and windows. If you have an alarm system, use it. If you see any suspicious vehicles or people, take note of their description, license plates, etc. I will keep you posted if and when I hear anything about the status of the investigation.
