Hi Neighbors... Was anyone else shocked at their November/December gas bill? Mine was $342.00, and my wife and I were out-of-state except for a few days of that time. The thermostat was set at 55 degrees the whole time. Our water and electric were 50% less than usual. Has anyone noticed all the miscellaneous charges that add up to 36% of the bill? 22% alone for "distribution," or sending the gas thru the pipe.  I haven't noticed that there is a shortage of natural gas. Does anyone else care to see if there's something we can do. Of course, Equitable has no competition now, but maybe that can be changed.
