About every four to six weeks on a Saturday night, Marty and I like to host a potluck at our house. We generally have about 8-12 people (maybe more now that the list is growing). Most of us are semi-vegetarians at least, meaning we prefer a plant-based and healthy diet, and there are a few complete vegetarians, and occasionally a vegan. We love gourmet international food of any type, and prefer quality and variety over quantity. We usually start at around 8, eat all together, and then play some games. We decide on which games based on the wishes of the crowd on that particular night. People often bring their favorite games. There is no official ending time to the party. Marty and I are night people, so people are welcome to stay late. The next one planned is the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend, November 27. We would enjoy getting to know some new people. So, if you would like to become part of a circle of friends that get together regularly for fun and camaraderie, please email or phone (412-215-9631). Since Marty and I prefer smaller, more intimate gatherings to large crowds, we do not invite enough people to guarantee a turnout. Also, we consider our potlucks as invitations to our home and not vague general announcements. So the only thing I ask is that you RSVP if you would like to come.
