[Highland Park] Cutting Back on Junk Mail
I was told by the post office that we can apply to the mass mailing organization, Red Plum, to have our address removed from their mailing list. I am not sure how much of the coupon junk mail which comes to our house is from this source but I just went on-line (RedPlum.com) to request to be removed from their mailing list. It will take 5 to 6 weeks but in 5 to 6 weeks I will instruct our mail carrier not to deliver this tree-wasting junk to my address any more. Taking five minutes to call any company that sends you unwanted catalogues will help too. Think about taking measures yourself to lighten our mail carrier's load and save a tree! "Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." II Corinthians 9:7 Lord, help me to give my first fruits and the very best of who I am to you each day of this new year, Sarah J Heppenstall
