A couple of weeks ago, a "Democrats for DeSantis" yard sign was taken from our front yard. This past week, we came home from work and found the new yard sign pulled out of the ground and leaning as if someone had tried to take but may have run off in the middle of the act. This afternoon, as I was collecting leaves in my front yard, the driver of a passing car honked the horn and "flipped me off." Nice... I am saddened that this is what some of us in the neighborhood consider appropriate "political action." Is it fear, immaturity, an emotional handicap, stupidity, intolerance or a lack of respect that would motivate someone to behave like this? I expect better of my neighborhood.
