Are you a former Boy Scout? Are you parents of a boy aged 7-16 who might be interested in scouting? Would you be interested in working with a team here at St. Andrew's to build a new Cub/Boy Scout program in our neighborhood? For many years St. Andrew's sponsored a neighborhood Cub/Boy Scouting program, though the last incarnation disbanded three or four years ago. The Pittsburgh Scout Council is exploring the possibility of developing a new outreach to boys aged 7-16 here in the Highland Park neighborhood, and St. Andrew's is glad to serve as host and institutional sponsor. But we need 5-6 folks, parents, former scouts, interested community members, to take the leadership role. Good training and ongoing support will be provided.
