Sunday Poetry and Reading Series: Lisa Alexander and Victoria Dym Sunday, May 15, 2011 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM Lisa Alexander is student in the MFA-in-Poetry program at Drew University, and also a member of the Madwomen in the Attic Writing Workshop. She is a sound engineer for Prosody, NPR-affiliate WYEP’s weekly radio show featuring poets and writers. Victoria Dym is a graduate of Ringling Brother’s Barnum and Bailey Clown College and has also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and an MFA in Creative Writing - Poetry. She has appeared on stage, in movies, television, radio and as a stand-up comedian. Her poetry has been published in various anthologies, Pittsburgh Post Gazette, City Paper, and Pearl Magazine. She is a certified Laughter Yoga Leader and an active Madwoman. Dym has taught poetry at the Winter and Summer Institutes, has guest-lectured at schools and universities, and was named a Mellon Middle School Poet in Person.
