My family of four is looking for a new place to live. My husband recently finished his PhD, and I'll be graduating this fall, but we're planning on being in Pittsburgh for a while. Our kids are 12 and 14, so we need a 3-bedroom space (possibly a large 2-bedroom would work, if the bedrooms were large enough). We greatly prefer a first or second floor, and we need laundry (or laundry hookups) on site. We are responsible, respectful, non-smokers who have been living in Highland Park for the past 5 years and in Pittsburgh for most of our lives. We're a bit fed up with our current place because of ongoing issues with a severely leaky roof, or we'd just stay put. We love this neighborhood and would like to stay nearby (HP, Morningside, Stanton Heights, East Liberty). Our budget is $950/month. We do have pets (cats).
