Hi neighbors! I had I very concerning thing happen to me and I wanted to share to make sure all the neighbors can be on alert. The details are a little fuzzy but here’s what happened. Four zone 5 police officers visited me Sunday evening around 6:30pm to alert me that there have been a recent rash of break ins/car thefts by *white juveniles* in this neighborhood. This is really scary. Has anyone else heard anything about this? I had a friend visiting from butler and the officers came by to verify that she in fact owned her truck. Because there have been so many break ins/ car thefts by juveniles lately. And they were worried her truck was either stolen and abandoned on our street or broken into because her plates were from Butler. They mentioned her car doors were all open but we checked and they appeared closed but not locked. *nothing was stolen* It’s a little confusing. I’m still trying to make sense of it. A Good Samaritan must have seen my friend park and come into my house, which thank god they did. Because they were able to send the police to the right address and check that her car wasn’t broken into/stolen by juveniles. As I get more information I will update everyone.
