Hello, I own a house on Jackson Street at the end nearest to the duck pond and pool. I drove through the park (on the way to Fox Chapel) at around 7 p.m. on Saturday and then back through at about 9:30 p.m. There were cars parked up and down the street and big parties at the pavilions. Obviously it's summer time, but why are these people permitted to leave garbage all over the street and the grass? I couldn't get through the park on my way home because people had stopped their cars in the middle of the street to chat. There were also kids standing in the middle of the road, and so on. Basically I'm just wondering if people obtain permits to use the park. I enjoy walking and running through the park and taking my nieces and nephew to see the ducks. As a taxpayer I am extremely disgusted by the amount of trash people leave behind and the way they disrespect people passing through the park.
