My husband and I were just up at the reservoir walking and while we were there (between 4:30 and 5:00 pm), our car window was smashed and both of our purses stolen. We lost all of our credit cards, wallets, checkbooks, etc. The credit card and bank cards are being cancelled. I am hoping that the rest of the purses with our appointment books, phone numbers and more important material will be recovered. Hopefully, the thief dumped it somewhere close. Please be on the lookout for a beige parachute material woman's purse (sportsac?) and a man's "murse" (male purse) called a "yaksak?"-- black with silver trim. We looked all over to find one like that, so hopefully. it will turn up. I am most disgusted that my trust in the safety of Highland Park has been shattered. Thanks all...
