Did you know that there are over 800 sets of stairs throughout the city and over 43,000 individual steps that are in almost all 90 neighborhoods? This weekend and next weekend, BikePGH and the Office of Public Art has teamed up with 4 communities and 4 artists to put on a series of events titled* Steps We Take <https://www.bikepgh.org/sites/steps-we-take/>* that celebrate and call attention to the stairs of Pittsburgh! Join the neighborhoods of Polish Hill, West End, Fineview and Troy Hill along with artists Merritt Chase, Bradford Mumpower, H. Gene Thompson, and Danny Bracken and Erin Anderson respectively. The steps will be transformed with public art structures, a fashion show and marketplace, an interactive fabric performance sculpture and a sound and light walking tour. Hope to see you there!
