[Highland Park] help adopt / temporarily home a cat!
All, We thought we'd found a new home for our kitty, Nina Simone, but it looks like it's fallen through (twice!!). In one week, we need to move across the country and cannot take all of our pets (we are flying). Nina was a former roommate's cat who claimed to want her back, but has now flaked. We have asked all of our friends, posted her on Craigslist, had interest from lots of people, thought we had arrangements made twice (besides the roommate!) and....everyone has fallen through. She is a SWEET, awesome, amazing, *indoor-only* kitty, who gives kisses and hugs. She is well-groomed and very well cared for, but also a fun 7-yr-old cat who isn't high-maintenance. I am looking for a) someone to adopt her long term, OR b) someone to take her until April 5th or 28th, when I can return to Pittsburgh and can fly back with her to CA. Either way (short or longer term), she comes with her own carrier, litter box, litter, Evo food, scratchy post, toys, and water fountain. I am also willing to pay up to $30/month towards her care and food. She does well with kids, dogs, and other cats (in fact, a busy household would be so ideal for her!). She's really a beauty and would be a great addition to any family. We WILL ask for two references, and for some kind of proof that you are allowed to have an animal at your house (if you rent). Help us figure out the best thing for Miss Nina! Thanks in advance for considering :)
