[Highland Park] Go see Maritza Mosquera's Immigrant Body: in translation
I attended Maritza Mosquera's Immigrant Body: in translation dialogue on Wednesday June 9th. I joined a group of others from Chile, England, Cuba, California, South Africa and elsewhere. (I represented El Salvador). We drank sangria and wine while partaking in a provocative conversation on the cultures we left behind and about the new cultures we have adopted. I urge others to take time to join in on the conversation this coming Wednesday from 7 - 9 pm At Artist Image Resource. You'll be surprised at the familiar faces from Highland Park featured in the installation.
