NeighborsI have a Dell 2-in-1 that appears to need repair. The power cord stopped charging, so I purchased a replacement (generic) at Staples. Seems the laptop is programmed to not recognize non-Dell power supplies - it would hold the charge but not actually charge the battery. I ordered a power cord specifically for that laptop from Dell, and it falls out of the power port. Same with the second replacement they sent me. I'm thinking I need to replace the power port, but have no idea how to do that or where to go to get it done. I only paid $250 for it, but can't afford to get a new one, and of course there is info stored on it that I would like to have back. Anyone have any experience with replacing a laptop power port? Thanks, Pam
