Looking to dispose of old furniture and appliances?
Perhaps your New Year's resolution is to clean house. Or you're doing or planning a renovation or home makeover. It can be difficult to dispose of old furniture and appliances. Blessing Board is a non-profit with locations in Oakmont and McKeesport that accepts gently used household furniture, working appliances, and home furnishing accessories. Items donated to The Blessing Board are re-donated to families in financial hardship. These families may be victims of fire or flood, mothers with children escaping domestic violence, veterans, recovering addicts, or families experiencing other difficult circumstances. You can drop off your donations at either location during business hours, or for a fee they will pick-up donations. For more information, including hours & a full list of items that they accept, please visit https://blessingboard.org/ . -- *Highland Park Community Council* Visit our website by clicking here. <https://hpccpgh.org/>
The blessing board in oakmont also has a place where you can shop. They have lots of artwork and lamps and furniture. They are only open 2 or 3 days per week so you might want to call before you go. Money from your purchase goes back into the non profit. On Sat, Jan 2, 2021 at 12:22 PM Highland Park Pittsburgh, PA < hpccpgh@gmail.com> wrote:
