1. Set of four horticultural identification books, $1 each. Broadleaf Weeds in Turf, Identification & Control, published by Dow Agrosciences. Softack, 2005, ring binding. Great for identification of our local weeds, although I use organic/natural controls, so I just ignored that part. Came as part of a turf pesticide certification packet. I paid $150 for the packet. Tree Finder, a Manual for the Identification of Trees by Their Leaves, by May Theilgaard Watts. Softback, 1998. These three identification manuals pack a wallop in a small package! You can identify both evergreen & deciduous just by following the directions and answering the questions presented, just from the leaves! Also provides info on poisonous trees. Winter Tree Finder, for Identifying Deciduous Trees in Winter by May Theilgaard Watts & Tom Watts. Softback, 1970. Believe it or not, you can identify trees by their bark and other clues that you see in winter! Just follow the steps given. Also provides info on poisonous trees. Berry Finder, A Guide to Native Plants with Fleshy Fruits, by Dorcas S. Miller. Softback, Excellent illustrations, easy-to-follow steps. Also provides info on poisonous plants. 2. 1000 Places to See Before You Die (In the USA and Canada), by Patricia Schultz. Softback, 2007. Excellent condition, 1184 pages. Arranged by area of the country, excellent descriptions. Originally $19.95, selling for $4. 3. All Color Book of Greek Mythology, by Richard Patrick. Hardback, 102 pages, 1970. Good condition, but the jacket has some fading & small tears. Tons of color photos. $2 4. Making Mosaics: Designs, Techniques & Projects, by Leslie Dierkes. Hardback, Great condition, but the jacket has a few wrinkles & small tears and there is a name written on the cover-facing page. 128 pages, 1997.
