Hi, HP'ers, My name is Kelley Johnson. I am a former resident of the neighborhood and am looking to get back in. I went away to college and had to give up my apartment on Hays St. I have a unique situation, and was hoping that some awesome person in this neighborhood could help out. (Being completely transparent, here) I currently receive an insanely low amount of money in disability due to suffering with fibromyalgia. Because of that, I have to live on Section 8 or I could not live on my own. Because of the stigma that comes with having a Section 8 voucher, it is EXTREMELY difficult to find a decent apartment to rent. I've been fortunate to have been renting a house from a friend for the past 3 years but the house is way more than what I need and I can't afford to live here and desperately need to move. That is where you lovely people come in. A little more about me. I am 32, a non-smoker, I have no pets (have no desire to have any especially not cats because I am allergic to them). I am currently a senior at Cal U (go Vulcans). I am involved in my church, so most of my time is spent there with the young people I mentor. I love watching sports, so I will host the occasional sports watching party but that's about it. Fibromyalgia wipes me out most days, so I'm lounging around watching tv and/or asleep. I cannot do steps, so a first floor unit would be ideal. I am giving you insight into my life so that whoever reads this is not afraid of a Section 8 voucher. If there is anyone who has something coming available soon who needs a good tenant, please contact me via email, or by text at 412.609.1674. Thanks for reading. Kelley Y. Johnson Sent from my iPhone.
