Hello everyone! The topic for this week's class is pruning, including trees (fruit and shade), shrubs and cutting back grasses and perennials. The class is $10/person (cash, check or major credit card). I also offer these classes at no cost to those on fixed income or assistance. Since the sun sets well before 8:30 (the normal ending time for class) I will be working with people as they arrive, anytime after 5:00 pm. The earlier you can get there, the more practice time you'll have! Plus, this will give me more time to focus on smaller groups. I will be teaching as we go, so those who show up at the regular time (6:30) will get the same content, just with less time to practice and ask questions. This is a COMPLETELY hands-on class, and I do not have enough tools for each of you. So, if you have any of the following, please bring them for yourselves (and to share, if you are willing). -- pruners (secateurs) of all sizes -- loppers -- pruning saws -- floral snips -- pole pruners/saws -- shears -- GLOVES. Cloth, leather, whatever. If you don't know what any of the above items are, you probably don't have them. ☺ Please, absolutely no electric or gas-powered tools. We will not be utilizing those. If you are interested in this class, please email, call or text for the location. We are NOT meeting in our regular space. I look forward to seeing you all! Rachel Rkudrick@live.com 412-251-9759
