Hello Highland Park Moms - I have been thinking of organizing a Highland Park Mom Swap. No, not switching households (however tempting that may be at times), but holding a monthly (every other month?) exchange of stuff in someone's house. Here's how I think it might work: Everyone brings their lightly-used kid stuff to my house on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Put low price tags on things and bring some cash to get some stuff for yourself. I am hoping that if it takes off, we could eventually move it to other houses, but I'm more than willing to get the ball rolling. Is there interest out there? I have a friend who does this in Michigan and almost everything she has for her kids she got at a Mom swap for cheap. It sounds very appealing to me! I'm thinking of having one in January.
