Hello All, Thanks to those who responded! Here are the responses I received: 1. My church (www.acac.net) an urban church on the North Shore, is collecting all kinds of children's things (books, bibles, educational games, shoes, art supplies,writing paper) for a soon to take place missionary trip to Kenya--after Christmas.  I would happily pick them (the shoes) up but if you have any of the other items, that would be wonderful too. (This person plans on sending a separate email to the listserv soon) 2.  The Nike Store at Grove Ciy Outlets recycles shoes 3. nike sneaker recycling center downtown at pointpark, nike grinds them up for playground surfaces. 4. Local gym takes donations of old sneakers -- any size, mens, womens, childrens.
