Hello All! I just got an update from Commander Vinanski about upcoming use of the firing range. He said that there will be some officers qualifying at the range Monday through Friday until June 5, but next week should be the last week for a while. After June 5, he said that there will probably be a one month break from using the range. -- Highland Park Community Council Visit our website by clicking here.
Thank you HPCC for the update. to the council, and to neighbors: I do not want to hear gunfire from the range any longer. I don't want to live with this sound. I will not "get used" to it. my mental health has improved since not hearing the gunfire during quarantine. *I believe no neighbor should have to live with this sound.* if neighbors are up for it, i'm willing to petition and do any work to get get the range moved to a remote area. there's a reason firing ranges are not in cities or densely populated neighborhoods. we need not be an exception. I strongly feel this. neighbors: let me know if you're interested, and I'll start working. Yours with thanks, Joy, on heberton, close to the range On Wed, May 27, 2020 at 9:25 PM Highland Park Pittsburgh, PA < hpccpgh@gmail.com> wrote:
