Dear Highland Park Neighbors, This past Monday between 5pm & 7pm in the 1100 block of Portland Street, someone vandalized a small tree that my wife and I had planted between the front walk and the street. Somebody decided to rip down a major branch of the tree and to leave it in the center of our front walkway. It amounted to about a third of the entire tree, since the tree is only about 5 years old. We can only hope that the tree will survive the upcoming winter. And a month ago, the same happened to some of our sunflowers. What can be done to stop people who walk randomly down our streets from amusing themselves by destroying property that does not belong to them? Geoffrey
