[Highland Park] PSO Community Engagement Concert
Hello neighbors: The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra is returning to East Liberty for a third annual Community Engagement Concert! The PSO will present a Community Engagement Concert at East Liberty Presbyterian Church on Saturday, November 14th at 7:00 p.m. PSO Resident Conductor Lawrence Loh will conduct a string orchestra from the PSO. The PSO’s own Scott Bell and Jeremy Black will perform a duet for oboe and violin by Bach; the concert will also feature music by Mozart and Grieg. A pre-concert student performance will take place from 6:00-6:45, and a post-concert student performance will take place from 8:30-9:00 (ELPC Social Hall). All ticket proceeds from the concert will stay in the East Liberty Area Community, benefiting local instrumental music programs. Tickets for adults are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Tickets are $5 for seniors aged 60+ and students 18 and under. Tickets are available for purchase at East Liberty Presbyterian Church and Vintage Senior Center, or by phone at 412.361.5662.
