Very soon the snow will be falling and our neighbors will be out in full force shoveling. I would like to make a friendly request for neighbors to respect your immediate neighbors when you shovel that snow from your driveways. Last year we experienced flooding in our basement as the 3-5 feet of snow was thrown against our home eventually melted. The ground around my home couldn't take any more as the snow continued to melt. We experienced weeks of basement flooding and dampness due to untold amounts of snow piling up against our home. Also, please do not throw your snow on your neighbor's yard or landscaping. Eventually, the snow melts and the large amounts of additional snow damages our lawns and plantings. Just a reminder.
