For the past few months, we've been noticing a possible change in the character of our water. There is a lot more calcium deposited on showers etc. Soap seems less likely to foam. Also, our mouths seem dry all the time, especially when we drink tap water. Dry mouth can have a number of causes, but we wonder if it has something to do with the water itself. Has anyone else noticed this? I know that PWSA has been playing games with phosphate to control lead levels, but is this messing up the mineral content of the water? We're thinking about water softeners. Richard
