Off the Floor Pittsburgh A number of Highland Park volunteers participate in a unique nonprofit organization known as Off the Floor Pittsburgh. Established in 2004, this group has transformed the lives of needy families in the poorest areas of Pittsburgh who literally were eating and sleeping on the floor. Through the efforts of numerous people, these families now have basic needs such as beds, bedding, tables and chairs. Our first turn of the Spring season to do a pickup and delivery is Saturday morning, April 10. Now is a good time to join this volunteer team.
